The Ridgefield show comes just ahead of the release of the group’s new album, Historia, due May 15, 2026. The first single, “Señorita,” sets the tone with driving rhythm, joyful choruses and the unmistakable spirit of gipsy tradition that has defined the band’s sound for generations. Baliardo has described the song as a tribute to his youth, inspired by evenings spent playing guitar while families gathered to sing and dance — moments that helped shape his musical identity.

That sense of heritage runs throughout Historia, an album that balances exuberant tracks like “El Campo” and “Big Bang” with more reflective moments, including the instrumental “Cielo,” written in memory of Baliardo’s late brother Paco, and the peace-advocating ballad “La Guerre.” The record blends flamenco roots with touches of jazz, pop and Latin influences, continuing the band’s long tradition of musical cross-pollination.
