North County Band

The North County Band is the product of Chicago-born singer-songwriter Scott Smith and Texas fiddle sensation, Cat Lines. Together they have gathered some of Connecticut’s most seasoned and versatile musicians to compliment their songwriting craft and to deliver a signature sound. Twice nominated as “County Act of the Year” by the New England Music Awards, they are currently touring New England in support of their sophomore album – “Lay it on the Line.” They describe their music as New England Country/Americana. The band has sold out Daryl’s House, The Press Room NH, & The Back Space with bookings at The Levitt Pavillion for the Performing Arts, The Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun, The Old Towne Crier, Park City Music Hall, The Bijou Theater, Edmond Town Hall, The East Benton Fiddle Festival, The Stamford Palace UpStage, The Palace Theater of Danbury and the Ocean Mist.

Drew Ryder Smith

Drew Ryder Smith is a country music singer and award-winning professional songwriter. Born and raised between “Music City” (Nashville, TN) and “The Hit Making Capital of the World” (Muscle Shoals, AL), his music career was probably inevitable.

Drew’s work has been recorded in many countries including the US, Canada, Ireland, Germany and Australia (among others) by legends like Merle Haggard, Nashville powerhouse Randy Houser, Rob Snyder, Jason Charles Miller, Kevin Denney, John Schneider, and Australian-Canadian country singer, Gord Bamford, who stands as one of the most decorated artists in Canadian country music and the only two-time winner of the CMA Global Country Artist of the Year award.

Drew is a proud member of the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association as well as NSAI (the Nashville Songwriters Association International).

Gary Louris

Gary Louris has spent more than three decades shaping the sound of American roots rock with grace, heart, and unmistakable melodic instinct. Best known as a founding member and creative anchor of The Jayhawks, Louris is widely regarded as one of the most influential songwriters to emerge from Minnesota’s storied music scene. His work blends folk intimacy, country soul, and rock & roll warmth into songs that feel both timeless and deeply human.

Beyond The Jayhawks, Louris has left his mark as a member of Golden Smog, a collaborator with artists ranging from Lucinda Williams and John Hiatt to Nickel Creek and the Wallflowers, and a contributor to Grammy-winning recordings by the Tedeschi Trucks Band and The Chicks.

His most recent solo album, Dark Country (2025), finds Louris at a creative high point — reflective, melodic, and emotionally resonant. Released on Valentine’s Day via Sham/Thirty Tigers, the album earned widespread acclaim, with SPIN naming it one of their favorite releases of the year.
