Jesca Hoop
Jesca Hoop writes songs that feel hand-built, lived-in, and just strange enough to keep you leaning forward. The California-born, Manchester-based songwriter has spent years making deeply original music that moves between folk, art-pop, chamber textures, and sharply observed storytelling, always with a voice that feels unmistakably her own.
Her latest album, Long Wave Home, opens a new chapter. It is her first self-produced record, shaped during a period of personal change and bigger questions about community, disconnection, and how people carry one another through hard times. The result is warm but unsentimental, intricate without feeling precious, and full of songs that reward close listening.
That depth is what makes her such a compelling live artist. Jesca Hoop does not just play songs. She creates a mood, draws a room closer, and lets the tension and tenderness of the material do the work. Some artists aim for spectacle. Hoop goes for something better: presence.
For audiences who like singer-songwriters with real point of view, adventurous arrangements, and a little emotional risk in the mix, this is a night worth showing up for.

Low Darts
There’s a moment in every Low Darts performance where the age of the musicians stops mattering entirely. One second you’re watching five young guys; the next, you’re back in 1978, and the music has you.
Low Darts are a five-piece “studio rock & soul” band who first met in middle school jazz band — and who emerged from a pandemic basement project in 2020 with a mission: to reconstruct the greatest rock and soul records of the ’70s and ’80s exactly as they were made. Not just the songs. The recordings — the grooves, the harmonies, the exact instrumental parts, including some the original artists never attempted live.
Their repertoire spans over 150 songs from the architects of studio rock and soul: Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Toto, Supertramp, Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Kansas, Bill Withers, Chicago, and more. Musical director Colman Connolly (keys, guitar, vocals) produces and mixes all recordings out of his own studio alongside bandmates Sebastian Rodriguez (keys, vocals), Jonas Brown (guitar), Luke Foote (bass, vocals), and Sean Byington (drums, vocals).
The result has earned them worldwide recognition — over 7.5 million YouTube views, a following of 52,000+ subscribers, and praise from fans across the globe who describe hearing their youth played back to them by a generation that wasn’t even born yet. They’ve shared a stage with legends including José Feliciano, and perform for private events, corporate functions, and festivals nationwide.
Colman Connolly is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer from Murfreesboro, TN, and a Buchanan Fellow studying Audio Production and Data Science at MTSU. Hailing from a celebrated family of American and Irish folk musicians — including All-Ireland champions Damien, Martin, and Séamus Connolly — he earned his own All-Ireland title in 2021. Colman has recorded with, engineered, and performed alongside leading artists including Josie James, Dylan Foley, Language of Birds, Riverdance fiddler Haley Richardson, and accordionist Diarmuid O’Meachair, and was honored to represent MTSU’s College of Media & Entertainment during GRAMMY Week 2026. When he’s not leading and producing for the Low Darts, he can be found playing with Beach Boys tribute acts Pet Sounds Live and Good Vibrations — a natural extension of his deep love for classic studio craft and timeless pop.
Sebastian Rodriguez is a multi-instrumentalist and singer based in Fairfield, CT, who recently earned his his BA in Anthropology and Economics from the University of Connecticut. A versatile musician with roots in both classical and jazz traditions, Sebastian performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the Little Mozart Competition and has sharpened his improvisational voice through UConn’s jazz program. He is the bassist of 90s alt-rock inspired band Tweed Sugar and jazz fusion outfit Language of Birds, and has performed piano in the Kevin Tzanetis Quintet. Sebastian brings a rare combination of academic curiosity and musical range to everything he plays.
Jonas Brown is a multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN, who recently earned his degree in Neuroscience with a Russian language minor from Vanderbilt University. He works at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, where he has conducted clinical research on children recovering from gunshot wounds to the head. Jonas also loves learning about human geography and is a former competitive Scrabble player.
Luke Foote is a multi-instrumentalist and singer from Murfreesboro, TN, studying Audio Production at MTSU. He played trumpet in jazz band and guitar at School of Rock Fairfield before finding his footing as a versatile, in-demand musician across multiple scenes. In Murfreesboro, he performs with the Josie James Unit, the Kyelen Arora Trio, and Oliver Sayani, and holds down the low end for CT-based noise rock outfit Seers. Shaped by the playing of Tony Rice, Bill Evans, Pino Palladino, and Phish, Luke brings a rare melodic sensibility and harmonic depth to everything he touches — and when he’s not at a Phish concert, you’ll find him mixing in Dolby Atmos and immersive audio post production.
Sean Byington is a drummer, percussionist, and singer based in Storrs, CT, pursuing a BM in Jazz Studies at the University of Connecticut, where he studies under acclaimed drummer Jonathan Barber and performs with UConn’s Jazz Combos and Jazz Ensemble. He has also performed with UConn’s Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Lab Band, and honed his fundamentals under the mentorship of Robert McEwan. Away from campus, Sean has studied with Jim Royle and draws deep inspiration from the greats — Steve Gadd, Jeff Porcaro, Dave Garibaldi, Tony Williams, and Philly Joe Jones — a lineage you can hear in every groove he plays. In addition to the Low Darts, he keeps busy as a member of original alternative rock band Tweed Sugar and improvisational jazz fusion group Language of Birds. His pocket is deep, his feel is undeniable, and his love for the instrument comes through in every beat.

Jackie Greene
Americana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene is a jack-of-all-trades, and an artist who can croon over soulful piano ballads as much as he can shred a bluesy guitar solo (like he did as the lead guitarist for The Black Crowes in 2013). A road warrior and musician’s musician, Greene’s new EP ‘The Modern Lives – Vol 2’ (out October 2018 on Blue Rose Music) finds him at a new chapter in his life: his first months of fatherhood, time off his relentless touring circuit, and a cross-country move from Brooklyn to his birthplace of Northern California. Since the release of his critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Gone Wanderin’’, Greene has built an enduring audience through a relentless touring schedule with the likes of BB King, Mark Knopfler, Susan Tedeschi, and Taj Mahal. He played lead guitar with The Black Crowes on their Layin’ Down With #13 World Tour, recorded and toured with Trigger Hippy – his supergroup with Joan Osborne – and in the last four years performed over 300 shows of his own, all while continuing to record and release his solo work. Greene is a frequent member of Phil Lesh & Friends, and sits in with countless other artists including Tedeschi Trucks Band, Govt Mule, Mississippi All-Stars, Amy Helm, Steve Earle, and Bob Weir.

Susto Stringband
Justin Osborne has been performing as ‘Susto’ since 2013, when he formed a collective of fellow musicians and artists in coastal Charleston, South Carolina. Now a bona fide emissary of alt rock and treasure to the indie crowd, a lifelong calling coupled with a cosmic push of serendipitous happenstance led to his latest venture: ‘Susto Stringband’ joined by Americana vocalist Clint Roberts, clawhammer banjoist Helena Rose, and upright bassist Joey Brown (now Holler Choir).
Lightning struck as an immediate connection and artistic chemistry captured a new sound and visualization that unfolds on Susto Stringband’s debut release from New West Records, simply titled “Susto Stringband: Volume 1.” Nine of Osborne’s ballads, refrains and heart wrenching confessions, now drenched in the singular Appalachian sound of Holler Choir’s verdant harmonies and stringed arrangements. Still, steeped in the emotive punch of the traditional string band sound, Susto Stringband presents an Arcadia like vision of pastoralism and and harmony with nature, but with Osborne’s lyrics, there are landmines to dodge and mountains to climb.

Willie Nile
The New York Times called Buffalo, NY-born Willie Nile “one of the most gifted singer-songwriters to emerge from the New York scene in years.” Uncut Magazine called him “A one-man Clash” and “the unofficial poet laureate of New York City”. His album Streets Of New York was hailed as “a platter for the ages” by Uncut. Rolling Stone listed The Innocent Ones as one of the “Top Ten Best Under-The-Radar Albums of 2011” and BBC Radio called it “THE rock ‘n’ roll album of the year.” His single from that album, “One Guitar,” was the “Top Pick of the Week” in USA Today.
Willie has toured across the U.S. with The Who and has sung with Bruce Springsteen and Ringo Starr. As the induction program from the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame says: “His live performances are legendary.” His 2020 album New York At Night got rave reviews, with The Associated Press calling it: “As sharp and guitar-driven as ever…the fire within Nile, once a peer of The Replacements and The Clash, continues to light a similar torch…anthemic…custom made for these times.” Downbeat Magazine calling it a “sonic love letter to Gotham.”
