Death Cab for Cutie to perform at Mohegan Sun in April 2027

Indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie has announced a run of North American tour dates for 2027, which includes a single stop at Mohegan Sun. The eight-time GRAMMY nominees will perform at Mohegan Sun Arena at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2027, with special guest Swapmeet.

The upcoming headlining tour follows a fall circuit that brought the group through the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia. The five-member lineup includes Benjamin Gibbard, Nicholas Harmer, Jason McGerr, Dave Depper, and Zac Rae.

Tickets for the Mohegan Sun show will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, through Ticketmaster. Subject to availability, remaining tickets will be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, September 26.

An artist presale is scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 23, followed by a local presale on Thursday, September 24. Fans can find full ticket details and register for updates directly on the band’s official website.

The tour supports the band’s release, “I Built You A Tower,” which marks their return to independent music following 20 years with Atlantic Records. The project was recorded across Los Angeles, Seattle, Bellingham, and Portland, and features the song “Riptides.”
