Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for the party of the year: the Wild Wine, Beer, and Food Safari, happening on Saturday, June 1st. This much-anticipated event invites you to a unique experience where you can sample tastings from dozens of restaurant favorites, caterers, and enjoy a wide selection of wines and beers. All of this is set against the backdrop of live music, exciting games, a silent auction, and the presence of incredible zoo animals.
The Wild Wine, Beer, and Food Safari stands as one of the Zoo’s most significant fundraisers. Every sip and taste contributes to the care of endangered species, the expansion of exhibits, and educational programming at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Imagine tasting a Malbec with our monkeys or sipping a pilsner with our prairie dogs – it’s an experience like no other, rain or shine.
Our vendor list is currently growing and includes community favorites such as: The Blind Rhino, The Bites Company, Caribe Soul, Dave Grant Caters, Fortuna’s Catering, Garden Catering, Hot Monkey Nuts, Lesser Evil Snacks, Little Pub, Luna Azzurra Italiano, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Nuovo Pasta, Open Door Tea, Rose Sisters Chips, Taco Loco, and Vazzy’s!
We’re calling on local vendors and sponsors who share our passion for wildlife conservation to join us in making this event a success. As a vendor, showcase your culinary delights to over 1,200 guests, gaining exposure and impressing with your best sellers. Sponsors and donors, your generosity will be prominently recognized, contributing significantly to the Zoo’s mission while enjoying visibility among our supporters.
Tickets
General Admission ($100) includes entry from 6 p.m. and a souvenir tasting glass.
VIP Admission ($150) offers early access at 5 p.m., entry to a VIP area, animal encounters, and a souvenir tasting glass. Only 100 tickets available for this exclusive experience!
This is an adults-only event, with all ticket holders required to be 21+ and present a valid ID at the entrance.
Don’t miss out on this extraordinary evening of gastronomy, libations, and lively entertainment, all in support of a vital cause. Participation helps the continued work in conservation, education, and the care of the animals who call Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo home.
