Saturday, May 4 marks Connecticut Landmarks’ opening weekend. Under the leadership of newly appointed Interim Executive Director, Robert Brock, our historic sites and their staff welcome visitors to open the door to the past with tours, hands-on programs, and special events. Our refreshed membership program offers new benefits for general membership and new levels for public libraries, historical societies, and universities to connect with our museums.

Robert Brock stepped into the role of Interim Executive Director by appointment of the Board of Trustees of Connecticut Landmarks effective March 29th. He previously served as Deputy Director of CT Landmarks since August 2020 and joined the organization in January 2019 as the Assistant Director of Operations. Learn more about Mr. Brock click here.

Our 2024 season features new events including the Palmer-Warner House and East Haddam Historical Society’s Pride Month Celebration; Mattatuck Museum Takeover at the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden; and Making Music Together: The Ishams’ Parlor Music at the Isham-Terry House. Returning favorites include Things That Go Bump in the Night at the Nathan Hale Homestead; the Hempsted Houses’ Juneteenth Festival; Suffield Garden Club’s 46th Annual May Market at the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden; and the Sunset Sounds Concert Series at the Butler-McCook House & Garden. Tours of our seven historic house museums are available from May through October. Days and times vary by location. For open tour hours of each property, please click here.

Connecticut Landmarks members can experience history like never before with our new-and-improved membership program. Refreshed benefits include new members-only tours and events, including our Lilac Walks and Historic Hartford Walking Tours, plus more discounts and pre-sales on programming. Public libraries, historical societies, and universities can open the doors of history for their students, volunteers, staff, and patrons with our new organizational membership levels that offer free admission to six of our properties, among other benefits.
