Comedian Bert Kreischer bringing ‘Permission to Party’ tour to Wallingford this October

Stand-up comedy star Bert Kreischer is set to bring his “Permission to Party World Tour” to the Toyota Oakdale Theatre on Oct. 8, 2026, tour promoters announced Monday.

The Wallingford stop is part of a newly added slate of dates for the world-touring comedian, whose career has seen a meteoric rise from viral storyteller to global entertainment brand.

Tickets for the Oakdale Theatre performance go on sale Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. via the venue and official tour websites. Fans looking for early access can participate in a presale starting Wednesday, April 8, at 10 a.m.

Kreischer, recognized by Forbes as “one of the best storytellers of his generation,” arrives in Connecticut on the heels of a prolific year. His latest Netflix special, “Lucky,” and his new scripted series, “Free Bert,” both secured spots in the streaming service’s Top 10 most-watched programs earlier this year. Production on the second season of “Free Bert” is scheduled to begin this summer.

In addition to his stand-up and acting, Kreischer remains a dominant force in the podcasting world with “Bertcast” and “2 Bears, 1 Cave.” He also recently entered the spirits industry, launching the award-winning Por Osos Vodka alongside Tom Segura in 2024.
