Norwich Historical Society’s Ancient Ghosts of Norwich

As dusk approaches, stroll through one of Norwich’s oldest graveyards and hear local ghostly legends and folklore. There will be five tours at 6:00pm, 6:20pm, 6:40pm, 7:00pm, and 7:20pm. Tours will be limited to 30 people each. Please purchase your ticket(s) in advance here . Limited tickets may be available at the door, but no guarantee.

Get ready for the 3rd Annual NorWITCH Halloween Strut!

Join us in Norwich, Connecticut, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. for an evening of spooky fun and festivities!

“The Strut” is a fantastic event for residents and visitors to safely wander around downtown Norwich, enjoying eerie decorations and engaging in loads of family-friendly activities. There will be amazing food trucks, a special NorWitchtown playhouse village for the little ones, dancing witches, a judged cackling contest, and sooo much more!

Costumes are highly encouraged, so get creative and join the fun!

Mark your calendars now because it’s going to be a spooktacular night you won’t want to miss!

Leffingwell Haunted History is back! On October 25 & 26, Join the investigation team of Arrowhead Paranormal in an investigation of the Leffingwell House Museum led by YOU. Learn how to use the equipment and discover the techniques used by the team. You will be the investigator and do your own paranormal hunt in the museum with the guidance of the Arrowhead team of investigators.

3 time slots: 6-7:30, 8-9:30, 10-11:30. adult $30, age 12-17, $25.

The Friends of Slater Museum are delighted to announce the return of the Artisan Craft Show on November 9th. We will be welcoming over 50 jury selected artisan vendors from Connecticut and Rhode Island, exhibiting their artistry and craftsmanship through a vast variety of mediums.

Come visit our indoor, all-ages, and fully-accessible event on the Norwich Free Academy campus! Slater Memorial Museum will be open throughout the show with free admission.

Are you fascinated by clocks? Thomas Harland returns to Leffingwell House Museum on November 9 & 10 for a unique interactive presentation and clock display from the collection of Todd Keating. As you stroll through Leffingwell House Museum, Harland will share the works and careers of his apprentices when they went out to seek their fame and fortunes. You will see clocks made by his apprentices and hear about their lives after their apprenticeship were completed.

Presentation and display Nov. .9 & 10, Saturday & Sunday at noon and 2pm. Space limited with a maximum of 10 persons per time slot, reservations required on Eventbrite. $20/pp
