Calling all UCONN students, alumni, and fans, get your Jonathan XIV & XV bobbleheads
UConn’s 15th canine mascot – Jonathan XV – arrived on campus in late-June 2023 ready to learn the ropes from his de facto big brother, Jonathan XIV. Picked up by handlers on National Mascot Day (June 17th) and brought back to Connecticut, Jonathan XV arrived on campus weighing 10 pounds, but is expected to grow to about 55 to 60 pounds. Part of a six-puppy litter born in Atwood, Ontario, Canada, on April 19th, Jonathan XV made his debut at the UConn Board of Trustees meeting with handlers from the co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. Jonathan XIV, who debuted in early-2014, celebrated his 10th birthday in October.
“We’re excited to be releasing the first bobbleheads of Jonathan XIV and XV in conjunction with National Bobblehead Day,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “We know how passionate UConn fans are about their school and bobbleheads, so we expect these bobbleheads to be extremely popular.”
The officially licensed bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

National Bobblehead Day is January 7th. To celebrate The Bobblehead Hall of Fame is releasing its first UConn live mascot bobbleheads, Jonathan XIV and Jonathan XV. Standing on a UConn Huskies logo-shaped base bearing their names, the Jonathan XIV and Jonathan XV bobbleheads both feature their ocean-blue eyes and facial markings that mirror the Husky logo. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to only 2,024. The bobbleheads are $30 each plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
