Brandi Carlile extends ‘The Human Tour,’ Mohegan Sun Arena show set for Aug. 14

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile will bring her extended The Human Tour to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, Aug. 14, with special guest Jensen McRae. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 20, via Ticketmaster, and the arena box office beginning Saturday, March 21.

Paid members of Carlile’s Bramily fan community have early access starting Tuesday, March 17, and a North American artist presale begins Wednesday, March 18.

The tour follows a successful first leg that included shows at Madison Square Garden, Kia Forum and TD Garden. Critics praised Carlile’s performances, with The Boston Herald noting her “unmistakable vocal delivery with a towering band…all combined to prove she belongs in this big place.”

Highlights of the spring run included Be Human: A Concert for Minneapolis, which raised more than $700,000 for The Advocates for Human Rights and was livestreamed from Carlile’s sold-out Target Center show.

Carlile’s latest album, Returning to Myself, produced alongside Andrew Watt, Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. The critically acclaimed record has been praised for its emotional depth and artistry, with NPR Music calling Carlile “a bona fide superstar whose compositions feel like instant classics.”

Carlile, an 11-time Grammy winner, Oscar-nominated songwriter and founder of the Looking Out Foundation, has collaborated with artists including Elton John, P!nk and Dolly Parton.

The Human Tour continues to feature special guests such as I’m With Her, Gregory Alan Isakov, The Head and the Heart, Stephen Wilson Jr., and CMAT.
