Backyard Beats & country-pop star Dasha set to light up the Sun Patio for a two-night summer music bash

Mohegan Sun is turning up the heat this August with two separate outdoor music events on back-to-back nights, as Backyard Beats takes over the Sun Patio at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 16th, followed by a live performance from rising Country-Pop sensation Dasha on Sunday, August 17th at 7:00pm. The first-ever Backyard Beats at Mohegan Sun is a music festival that will feature Souls on Fire, Red Light, Don’t Tell Lisa, The Fake Experience, Juice Box; amazing DJs and more!

Tickets for both events are available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and through Ticketmaster. In addition to a complete bar and deck for guests 21+, this top-notch outside venue at Mohegan Sun offers everything one could expect from an outdoor event. Saturday’s Backyard Beats will be a full day of festivities, featuring an amazing lineup of local musicians delivering high-energy performances and other fun activities. In between sets, DJ Mikey V and DJae Mêlée will keep the energy high with live mixes and crowd-pleasing beats. The atmosphere is ideal for lounging or dancing the day away, and visitors can enjoy incredible music from some of the best bands in the region, scrumptious cuisine, and refreshing beverages. The atmosphere is ideal for lounging or dancing the day away, and visitors can enjoy amazing music, scrumptious cuisine, and refreshing beverages.

The next night the Sun Patio stage will see the electrifying talent behind the hit song “Austin”, Dasha. Her upbeat show guarantees that supporters of all ages will have a memorable summer evening. The rising Country artist will be the latest entertainer to take part in the Sun Patio Concert Series that features household acts such as The Roots and Godsmack front man Sully Erna.

In addition to the amazing live entertainment options, well-known local food trucks will be on site, such as Hungry Lion during Backyard Beats and Los Mariachis, who will pair with NoRA Cupcake Company for Dasha’s Sun Patio show. Philly’s, a favorite among the locals, will be present both days.

Fire pits for up to eight guests are available for Saturday’s Backyard Beats event. Each seat within the reservation will be $10. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, feel free to bring your own chairs! Guests are not permitted to bring coolers or outside food/beverages. Bands and food trucks subject to change. For the Sun Patio Concert Series shows are general admission, open to all ages and will take place rain or shine. Events are standing room only and guests are not permitted to bring chairs, coolers, or outside food and beverages. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID to enter the Sun Patio Bar.
