Annual Milford Pirates Day outlines summer event schedule and pancake breakfast tickets

Pirates day in Milford, Connecticut in June 2026

Downtown Milford will transform into a waterfront pirate-themed event on Sunday, June 7, for the 24th Annual Milford Pirates Day. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. across the Milford Green, Lisman Landing, and the Milford Historical Society. Admission to the festival grounds is free.

The scheduled activities center around several signature waterfront and downtown experiences. A pirate ship will land in Milford Harbor with cannon fire at approximately noon. Visitors can participate in interactive treasure hunts throughout downtown businesses, and many families attend the festival in pirate-themed costumes. The event also features more than 25 vendors on the green, mermaid character appearances, family photo opportunities, and live music and performances across multiple locations.

Special historical programming and dining events are also built into the day’s schedule. The Milford Historical Society will host storytelling and historical displays presented by the Free Men of the Sea of Mystic. The festivities begin with “Pancakes with Pirates,” a limited-ticket breakfast experience hosted by Lasse’s Restaurant. Tickets for the breakfast are $15 and can be purchased online through the downtown Milford event link.
