‘A Taste of Ireland’ dance production scheduled for Torrington’s Warner Theatre

The international touring production “A Taste of Ireland — The Irish Music & Dance Sensation” is scheduled to perform at the Warner Theatre on June 26.

The production, presented by Pace Live, arrives in Connecticut as part of a 2026 world tour following engagements in London’s West End and New York City. The show features a cast of world champion dancers and musicians who perform traditional Irish step dance reimagined with contemporary lighting, scenery, and musical arrangements.

The performance stars headliners Callum O’Neill, a former member of “Riverdance,” and Clara Sheppard, previously of “Lord of the Dance: Feet of Flames.” Producer and director Brent Pace noted that the production focuses on the authentic sounds of the performers, emphasizing that the rhythmic taps are performed 100 percent live rather than using pre-recorded tracks.

“This show offers audiences an adventure through the heart and soul of Ireland, where every beat of music and every step of Irish dance shares a captivating journey,” Pace said. He added that the production aims to help audiences “appreciate Ireland’s rich history through movement, music, and dance.”

The show features a score that includes reimagined versions of classics such as “Danny Boy” and “Wild Rover.” The creative team includes co-director Ceili Moore, a former “Lord of the Dance” artist, and musical director Charlie Galloway.

The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Warner Theatre’s Oneglia Auditorium. Tickets for the event range from $41 to $86 and are available through the theater’s box office and website.
