Grammy and Tony Award-winning musical Hell’s Kitchen to launch national tour at The Bushnell

The North American tour of the Grammy and Tony Award-winning musical Hell’s Kitchen will premiere in Hartford at The Bushnell from December 8 through December 13, 2026. Tickets for the eight-performance run go on sale Friday, August 28, at 10 a.m.

Created by 17-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys and Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz, the show features direction by Michael Greif and choreography by Camille A. Brown. The narrative follows 17-year-old Ali as she navigates personal passion, family, and community in New York City.

The touring cast features Maya Drake as Ali, Kennedy Caughell as Jersey, Roz White as Miss Liza Jane, Desmond Sean Ellington as Davis, and JonAvery Worrell as Knuck. The ensemble and swings include Stemarciae Bain, Miya Bass, Jaylen T. Bryant, Rashada Dawan, Sherée Marcelle Dunwell, ’Zaiah Ellis, Mae-Lynn Flores, Marques Furr, Destini Hendricks, Sean Holland II, Alfred Jackson, Christopher Miller, Usman Ali Mughal, Chikezie Nwankwo, Sangeetha “Sang” Santhebennur, Marley Soleil, Beda Spindola, Asten Stewart, Teetee, Sydney Townsend, Timothy Wilson, and Ethan Zundell.

The production incorporates pop hits and original songs by Keys, with orchestrations by Tom Kitt and Adam Blackstone. The Broadway production previously won two 2025 Tony Awards and the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
