The Moonrise Cartel
The Moonrise Cartel is an original American folk-rock band blending folk, indie rock, and Americana with a touch of gospel. The band features soaring harmonies, introspective lyrics, and a vintage sound profile balanced with a modern touch — equal parts timeless and for the time. Their rapidly growing fan base (known as Cartel Members) now coins their music “Folk Rock from Black Rock.”
Fueled by songwriter Al Pascarelli’s deeply personal writings of a lifelong battle with mental illness, alcoholism, and an eventual emergence out of the darker shades of the human experience, this is a band with several gears and one that takes you on an incredible journey. His voice is accompanied by Stephanie Harrison, who wows with striking vocal prowess, moving effortlessly between stunning power and heartbreakingly delicate delivery.
Multi-instrumentalist Jason Polise lays a sonic feast on lead guitar, saxophone, and keys, along with several other instruments. It is all held together by the rock-solid backdrop of Benj LeFevre on bass and Steve Tobey on drums.

Alejandro Escovedo
Alejandro Escovedo’s New Album ECHO DANCING is an Adventure in Life
No one has really ever been able to define themselves and their music like singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo does. His life in music of all kinds sometimes feels like a swirl through the sky, where his songs point out all the majesty and mystery of how he sees the world. The sounds he makes take him places that he might not even predict, but once there, greatness always follows. It’s just the way Escovedo is. It has happened over and over for decades, almost like a fateful agreement he has with the cosmos. There is a good chance it cannot be explained, especially by him.
Maybe that’s because this is a musician who feels magic, both in himself and the world around him, and is open to the experience of whatever comes his way. It is not always easy, and can have a high demand on how a person lives. But it is the way that Escovedo is always moving forward.
On this new album, Alejandro Escovedo has taken a road rarely traveled, which is totally in keeping with how he has lived his life in music. Echo Dancing is an experiment in how to use the past to shape the future. By recording completely new and repurposed versions of songs from his past, Escovedo actually gets a chance to rewrite his own history. It’s also an idea that pushes growth into the present, and asks an artist to see themselves anew. “I always feel that a well-written song can withstand a lot of abuse,” Escovedo says. It is an area of creativity that the man has always honored. “Turning a past song inside out leads to discovery of new ideas you might not have understood about the song,” he says. “Even lyrical refurbishing has proven helpful and effective. It’s like interpreting your own work anew. The songs never seem to be complete. They are always evolving.”

Jake Swamp and the Pine
Jake Swamp and the Pine is an Americana band born out of Boston, Massachusetts. Led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Drew Zieff, the band features 8 time Boston Music Award winner Jonathan Ulman on drums, Chris Haley on electric guitar, pedal steel and backup vocals, and Austin Beveridge on bass, among other talented musicians who sit in on special occasions.
What started as a songwriting project in 2018 quickly turned into something much bigger. Jake Swamp and the Pine cut their teeth at small basement shows, porch fests, and bars in the Greater Boston area – and are now regularly playing prestigious national festivals and major venues. Through this – and a genuine focus on connecting with fans at an individual level – Jake Swamp and the Pine continue to amass a following that the band lovingly coined ‘The Pine’ – a community of fans who not only connect with the music, but also appreciate the band’s ability to create a sense of camaraderie and intimacy, no matter the size of the room or distance between them.
The band has had the privilege of sharing the stage with artists like Alanis Morissette, Trampled by Turtles, The Wood Brothers, Ziggy Marley, and more.
