The Bushnell in Hartford has announced that tickets for the 25th anniversary tour of the musical Mamma Mia! will go on sale Friday, August 7 at 10 a.m. The production will run at the Hartford venue from October 20 through October 25, 2026.

Individual tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or at the Bushnell box office located at 166 Capitol Avenue. Group tickets for parties of 10 or more are currently available through the venue’s group sales department.

The musical features the music and lyrics of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, with a book written by Catherine Johnson. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast, the production centers on a story set on a Greek island set to the songs of ABBA.

Since its premieres in London in 1999 and on Broadway in 2001, the stage show has been seen live by 70 million people worldwide across 50 productions in 16 languages. The property was also adapted into two feature films, Mamma Mia! The Movie in 2008 and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in 2018.

The 25th anniversary production returned to Broadway in August 2025 for a six-month run at the Winter Garden Theatre. The touring production visiting Hartford is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East, and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal Music Group.
