Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts announced fall 2026 season

The Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on the UConn campus in Storrs will launch its fall 2026 season with a lineup of live music, magic, and dance performances. The schedule features a variety of internationally acclaimed artists appearing throughout the season.
Multiple Grammy Award winner Pat Metheny will open the season on September 25. He will perform with his new ensemble, Side-Eye III+, as part of an international tour supporting their self-titled album released earlier this year.
The upcoming fall lineup includes Rufus Wainwright’s WANTED: Judy Garland concert and the parody musical Hocus Pocus Live. Audiences can also see ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, Coco in Concert Live to Film, and the shadow dance company Catapult: Magic Shadows.
Additional main stage performances feature the Rubberband Dance Group and the acoustic ensemble Punch Brothers. The seasonal schedule will conclude with a festive holiday cabaret performance by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, led by conductor Keith Lockhart.
The classical and vocal offerings continue through the Lenard Chamber Music Series. This specific series will present the Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble VOCES8, the Amsterdam-based Camerata RCO from the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the Callisto Quartet.
Rodney Rock, Director of Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, stated that the upcoming season is designed to celebrate creativity in all its forms. Tickets for the entire scheduled lineup are currently available through the official university venue website.
