Mohegan Sun to host Latin Night on the Sun Patio this July

Mohegan Sun is bringing a celebration of Latin music and dance to its outdoor venue next month. Backyard Beats Presents: Latin Night is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the Sun Patio. The open-air event is open to guests of all ages.

The evening entertainment features a lineup focused on live music and crowd participation. Badder Bunny, a tribute show dedicated to the music of global star Bad Bunny, will headline the night. Attendees can also catch a live performance by salsa group Sabor Latino, presented by Taino Productions.

For those looking to learn some moves, Willie Rios of Willie’s Salsa Euphoria will lead interactive salsa dancing lessons early in the evening. DJ Lex will play music between the live sets to keep the entertainment continuous.

The event includes several food and beverage options. Food trucks will be parked on-site throughout the night, and the venue will feature drink specials, including five-dollar Modelo drafts.

Guests have a few options for seating and setup. Private fire pits that accommodate groups of six to eight people are available to reserve for $15 per person and come with cocktail service. Admission to the event is separate from the fire pit reservations, and guests must check in by 9:30 p.m. Plastic Adirondack chairs are also available to rent for $10 at the Tiki Hut while supplies last.
