Connecticut Sun announces 2026 broadcast schedule, six-member media team
The Connecticut Sun announced its 2026 regular-season broadcast schedule Wednesday, featuring 27 locally televised games as the franchise enters the fourth year of its partnership with NBC Sports Boston.
The schedule also highlights the WNBA’s expanding national reach, with games slated for ESPN, ION, NBA TV, and Prime. Following the addition of new national partners, the Sun will also appear three times on USA Network and once on Peacock.
The Sun opens the season May 8 on the road against the New York Liberty at Barclays Center, a contest airing nationally on ION. The team returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for its home opener against the Seattle Storm on May 10, marking the debut of this season’s NBC Sports Boston slate.

The team also unveiled a veteran six-member broadcast crew:
- Brendan Glasheen returns for his sixth season on play-by-play. Glasheen also serves as the voice of Unrivaled Basketball for TNT Sports.
- Terrika Foster-Brasby enters her fifth season as a sideline reporter and color analyst. She recently joined USA Sports as a sideline reporter and co-hosts the “Levels to This” podcast with Hall of Famer Sheryl Swoopes.
- Edona Thaqi returns for her third season. A former Kosovo National Team player, Thaqi provides color commentary for NBC/Peacock and USA Network.
- Meghan McKeown, a Northwestern alumna in her third season with the Sun, continues her work as a studio and game analyst for ESPN and the Big Ten Network.
- John Brickley enters his fourth season as play-by-play announcer and analyst. The former ESPN anchor also serves as an adjunct professor at Marist and Quinnipiac universities.
- Gabrielle Lucivero joins the crew for her first season. An award-winning journalist and former Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year, Lucivero has covered multiple Olympics and Final Fours.
Local blackout restrictions will apply to WNBA League Pass in New England while NBC Sports Boston games air live, with exceptions for fans in New Haven, Waterbury, and Fairfield County, who can access games via the NBC Sports app.
