‘Ghostbusters’ in concert brings symphonic experience to Toyota Oakdale Theatre

The supernatural comedy classic “Ghostbusters” will materialize at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre on Oct. 21, 2026, featuring a live orchestral performance of the film’s iconic score.

The stop is part of a 35-city North American tour presented by Schirmer Theatrical and Black Ink Presents. Audiences will view the original 1984 film on a massive high-definition screen while a full orchestra performs Elmer Bernstein’s Grammy-nominated score live-to-picture.

The production features a reconstructed score by Peter M. Bernstein, the son of the original composer and an orchestrator for the 1984 film. The tour aims to unite longtime fans and new audiences through an immersive cinematic and symphonic event.
