Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving is March 25

Sandwich purchases across Connecticut will help send local athletes to a national stage as Jersey Mike’s Subs hosts its annual Day of Giving on Wednesday, March 25.

On that day, all 46 Connecticut locations will donate 100% of sales — not just profits — to support 37 athletes from Team Connecticut competing in the Special Olympics USA Games. The games are scheduled to take place June 20–26, 2026, in Minnesota’s Twin Cities.

The Day of Giving is part of Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving campaign, now in its 16th year, which encourages customers to round up purchases or make donations throughout March at more than 3,200 locations nationwide. Every four years, the company partners with the Special Olympics USA Games as a featured beneficiary of the campaign.

Funds raised in Connecticut will go directly toward helping local athletes travel, train, and compete in the national event, which brings together nearly 3,000 competitors from all 50 states. Athletes will participate in 16 sports, including track and field, swimming, gymnastics, and basketball, with pickleball and cornhole debuting this year.

Organizers say the event highlights the shared mission of Jersey Mike’s and the Special Olympics movement — expanding opportunities for athletes of all abilities and celebrating inclusion through sport.

Day of Giving is typically the company’s busiest day of the year, with some locations opening early to meet demand. Nationwide, Jersey Mike’s aims to surpass last year’s record-breaking $30 million fundraising total. Since launching Month of Giving in 2011, the company has raised more than $143 million for local charities.

This year’s campaign also coincides with a milestone for Jersey Mike’s, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary after beginning as a single sub shop at the Jersey Shore in 1956.

Customers can participate by visiting any Connecticut location on March 25 and making a purchase in-store, online, or through the app, with all proceeds benefiting athletes on their journey to the 2026 games.
