Judy Collins to bring farewell “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes” tour to Ridgefield Playhouse

Legendary singer-songwriter Judy Collins will stop at Ridgefield Playhouse (80 E Ridge Rd, Ridgefield, CT 06877) on Nov. 29, 2026, as part of her highly anticipated farewell tour, Sweet Judy Blue Eyes, the theater announced Tuesday.

The North American tour, which officially kicks off July 4, 2026, in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, will run through 2027, offering fans a final chance to hear Collins’ iconic voice and storytelling on stage. Known for hits such as “Both Sides Now” and “Amazing Grace,” Collins has released 55 recordings over her six-decade career, including her Grammy-nominated 2023 album Spellbound.

Select dates on the tour will feature special guests, including Richard Thompson, The High Kings, Bruce Cockburn, and others to be announced. Following the main tour, Collins will present a series of encore performances under the banner Sweet Judy Blue Eyes – Celebration Encore, celebrating her legacy in folk music.
