Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving to support Team Connecticut athletes headed to 2026 Special Olympics USA Games

Jersey Mike's Milford Connecticut

The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games is teaming up with 46 Jersey Mike’s Subs locations across Connecticut for the 16th annual March “Month of Giving” campaign, raising funds to send 37 Team Connecticut athletes to compete on the national stage.

Throughout March, customers at participating Jersey Mike’s locations can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or make a donation at checkout. Proceeds will benefit Team Connecticut athletes and support the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

The 2026 USA Games will take place June 20-26 in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, with the University of Minnesota serving as the official host venue. Nearly 3,000 athletes from across the country are expected to compete in 16 sports, including athletics, gymnastics, swimming, and basketball. Pickleball and cornhole will debut as official USA Games sports this year.

The Month of Giving campaign will culminate with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 25. On that day, local Jersey Mike’s restaurants will donate 100 percent of the day’s sales — not just profits — to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games and participating state programs. Every dollar raised, whether in-store, online or through the Jersey Mike’s app, will support the cause.

Day of Giving is traditionally Jersey Mike’s busiest day of the year, with some crews beginning preparations as early as 4 a.m. to meet demand.

The Month of Giving initiative typically supports more than 200 local charities nationwide. For the second time in the campaign’s 16-year history, Jersey Mike’s owners and operators across the country are uniting behind a single cause: supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities and promoting inclusion beyond the playing field.

Last year, Jersey Mike’s raised a record-breaking $30 million nationally during the campaign. Since Month of Giving began in 2011, the company has raised more than $143 million for local charities.

Funds raised in Connecticut will help ensure Team Connecticut athletes can travel, train, and compete at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, representing the state in one of the nation’s premier sporting events for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
