James Taylor returns to Bridgeport in June
James Taylor will return to the road in 2026 with his All-Star Band, announcing a summer tour that includes 29 shows in major cities across the United States.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport on June 22, 2026. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public Friday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m.
The outing continues Taylor’s more than five-decade career as one of popular music’s most enduring and influential artists. Known for his warm baritone voice and distinctive acoustic guitar style, Taylor has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide since releasing his self-titled debut in 1968.

His accolades include multiple Grammy Awards, induction into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the MusiCares Person of the Year honor from the Recording Academy. In 2015, Taylor earned his first No. 1 album with Before This World.
Taylor has also received some of the nation’s highest cultural honors, including the National Medal of Arts, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Kennedy Center Honors. Internationally, he was named a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government.
In recent years, Taylor released Break Shot, an audio-only memoir chronicling his early life and career, and American Standard, his 19th studio album. The latter earned him the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2021 and made him the first artist to chart a Billboard Top 10 album in each of the past six decades.
