Little Theatre of Manchester kicks off January with jukebox tribute concert series

Little Theatre of Manchester is heating up the winter season with a January lineup of tribute concerts at historic Cheney Hall, bringing the music of Bon Jovi, Cher, Jackson Browne and the Eagles to local audiences.

The Jukebox Series, presented in a cabaret-style setting with table seating, aims to turn one of the coldest months of the year into a celebration of classic folk, pop and rock hits. The concerts offer audiences an up-close experience designed for socializing and reliving some of music’s most iconic eras.

The series opens Saturday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m. with Bad Medicine, a high-energy tribute to Bon Jovi. The band recreates the sound and spectacle of the arena-rock group with performances of hits including “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Tickets range from $18 to $60.

On Friday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m., vocalist Lisa Carter returns to Cheney Hall with The Ultimate Cher Experience, a tribute spanning six decades of Cher’s career. The show features Bob Mackie-inspired costumes, humor and a catalog of chart-topping hits. Tickets are priced from $24 to $66.

The following night, Saturday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m., Running on Jackson pays homage to singer-songwriter Jackson Browne. The tribute highlights Browne’s five-decade career with faithful renditions of songs such as “Doctor My Eyes,” “Tender Is the Night” and “Take It Easy.” Tickets range from $18 to $60.

The series concludes Friday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. with The Eagles Experience, known for its detailed recreation of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band’s sound, look and vocal harmonies. The performance features live renditions of classics including “Desperado,” “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Take It to the Limit.” Tickets range from $20 to $62.
