Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild and Swingin’ Holiday Party|8:00pm
April 2025 marked the 32nd anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, a band that helped revive Swing music in the 1990s. Formed in Ventura, California, by Scotty Morris and Kurt Sodergren, the group blends Jazz, Swing, and Dixieland with modern energy, performing over 150 shows annually and selling more than two million albums. Their rise began with a legendary residency at Los Angeles’ Derby nightclub and a breakout appearance in the 1996 film Swingers.
Over the years, their music has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, and they’ve performed on major platforms like The Tonight Show, Dancing With The Stars, and the Super Bowl XXXIII Halftime Show. The band’s original lineup remains intact, and they’ve collaborated with top symphony orchestras while performing for three U.S. Presidents. After 32 years, 11 albums, and over 3,000 live shows, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues to bring high-energy Swing to fans worldwide.
