Little Theatre of Manchester unveils holiday season lineup at Cheney Hall

The Little Theatre of Manchester (LTM) at Cheney Hall is spreading holiday cheer with a packed schedule of shows and events designed to entertain audiences of all ages. From youth-focused musicals to festive concerts, the lineup promises something for everyone this season.

The festivities kick off Friday, November 28, at 7 p.m. with Stand Up, Speak Out – The Musical That Ends Bullying, produced by four-time Emmy Award nominee Jill Nesi, with music by Jill Nesi, Jordan Nesi, and Mike Song. The transformative production delivers a powerful message of empathy, kindness, and connection, aimed especially at middle school audiences but resonant for all ages. Tickets range from $16 to $34.

On Saturday, November 29, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Cheney Hall hosts its Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair in celebration of Small Business Saturday. Shoppers can browse unique gifts from local artisans while enjoying live carolers, with children invited to meet Santa from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The season continues with a holiday ballet favorite, The Nutcracker, presented by Fisher Ballet Productions. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., and Sunday, December 14, at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Audiences will journey through a world of dancing snowflakes and toy soldiers in this full-length production featuring local youth ballet students performing alongside professionals. Tickets are $16 to $40, with both general admission and cabaret seating available.

Fans of rock ‘n’ roll will not want to miss Elvis The King Holiday Show featuring Lamar Peters & The Great Pretender Show Band on Saturday, December 20 at 7 p.m. The tribute to the King of Rock and Roll includes holiday classics such as Blue Christmas and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, performed with dazzling costumes and Elvis’ signature moves. Tickets range from $22 to $56.

Rounding out the holiday lineup is The Ugly Sweaterz, performing Sunday, December 21 at 7 p.m. The high-energy band, known for appearances at Blue Back Square, Evergreen Walk, and Glow Hartford, delivers a lively mix of holiday classics and Top 40 hits, bringing laughter and dancing to the stage. Tickets are $18 to $40.

Tickets for all performances can be reserved at CheneyHall.org or by calling (860) 647-9824. Discounts are available for seniors, students, military personnel, and groups. Parking is free in adjacent lots, and no reservations are required for the Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair.
