Flippenout Extreme Trampoline to soar high at Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular

Get ready for flips, twists, and jaw-dropping stunts as Flippenout Extreme Trampoline takes flight at the 32nd annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular on Sunday, November 23. Known as America’s premier trampoline show, Flippenout’s Olympic-level athletes will perform breathtaking routines—soaring up to 25 feet in the air—featuring skis, snowboards, wall tricks, and even world-record belly drops.

The show, which has thrilled millions across the globe, promises to be a highlight of one of the nation’s most celebrated parades. “Audiences can expect high energy, incredible athleticism, and the kind of gravity-defying entertainment that makes you want to hold your breath,” said organizers from Stamford Downtown.

Before the parade, fans can catch Flippenout’s acrobats in action during the Point72 Giant Balloon Inflation Party on Saturday, November 22 from 3–6 p.m. at the intersection of Hoyt Street and Summer Street. This festive pre-parade event, hosted by Stamford-based Point72 Asset Management since 2014, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the parade’s massive balloons as they come to life. Visitors can enjoy live music, meet beloved cartoon characters, and greet Santa Claus himself.

The Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular, presented by the Stamford Downtown Special Services District in collaboration with the City of Stamford, has long been recognized as one of the premier parades in the United States. The event is made possible through the support of dozens of community-minded sponsors, including Point72, Charter Communications, Synchrony, Stamford Health, UConn Stamford, and many others.

This year’s parade will feature an exciting lineup of new balloons, including Ariel the Zoonicorn, Bumble the Abominable Snowman, and Neko the Good Fortune Cat, alongside returning fan favorites such as Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George, Elmo, Peppa Pig, and Rudolph.

Music will fill the streets with performances from the NYPD Emerald Society Pipe & Drum Band, Fairfield County Pipes & Drums, and marching bands from across the region, including Westhill, Uniondale, and Brentwood High Schools. New to the lineup this year are the Pride of Port Chester High School Marching Band, Ballet Folklórico de las Américas, and the Ballet School of Stamford, joined by dynamic dance troupes and community performance groups.

The parade begins at noon on Sunday, November 23, stepping off from Summer Street at Hoyt Street and concluding on Atlantic Street, just blocks from the Stamford Metro-North Station.
