$10 Digital lottery announced for ‘Hamilton’ at The Bushnell in Hartford

Fans of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton will soon have a chance to see the Tony Award–winning production for just $10 when it comes to The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts next month.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and The Bushnell announced that a digital lottery for Hamilton tickets will begin ahead of the show’s first Hartford performance on Tuesday, November 4. A limited number of tickets for each performance will be available for $10 through the official Hamilton app, available for both iOS and Android devices.

The first lottery opens at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 24, and closes at 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, for tickets to performances running November 4–9. Subsequent lotteries will open each Friday and close the following Thursday for the next week’s shows.

Winners will be notified between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. each Thursday via email and mobile push notification and will have two hours to claim and purchase up to two tickets. Tickets can be picked up at will call beginning two hours before the show with a valid photo ID. All lottery tickets are non-transferable and void if resold.

Participants must be 18 years or older, and only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase or payment is required to enter, and entering more than once or using disposable email addresses will result in disqualification.

Tickets for Hamilton are also currently available for purchase through official channels, and fans are encouraged to check bushnell.org for any late-release seats that may become available.

The show, inspired by Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography, has won 11 Tony Awards, a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, multiple Grammys, and global acclaim for its innovative storytelling and cultural impact.
