Luckypawlooza 2025 returns to Stamford with two days of dogs, fun, and community spirit

Lucky Dog Refuge (36 Pulaski St, Stamford, CT 06902) is gearing up for the fourth annual Luckypawlooza Festival, presented by Magna Construction, on October 18 and 19, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Mill River Park. Rain or shine, the festival promises a two-day celebration of rescue dogs, family-friendly fun, and community connection.

As the organization’s signature fall fundraising event, Luckypawlooza supports Lucky Dog Refuge’s life-saving mission—rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need—while also funding improvements to Stamford’s Mill River Dog Park.

“Every dog at Lucky Dog Refuge has a story—they come to us from heartbreaking situations with no options left,” said Kirstin Mende, co-founder and CEO of Lucky Dog Refuge. “Luckypawlooza gives those dogs a voice. The funds we raise help cover their medical care, enrichment, and daily needs, but it also gives our community the chance to see the faces and wagging tails they’re helping. It’s hope, brought to life.”

Festival Fun for Two Paws and Two Feet

Attendees can enjoy a wide range of activities designed for both dogs and humans:

Adoptable Dogs: Meet rescue dogs and cats looking for forever homes.
Beer Garden & Food Trucks: Sample craft brews from Greenwich Brewing Company and a variety of local eats.
Alpha Dog Fun Run: A canine-friendly run for participants and their pets.
Pup Cup Barktenders: Dog-friendly treats served by Winfield Coffee.
Raffles & Competitions: Exciting contests and giveaways for all ages.
Kid’s Zone & Activities: Face painting, crafts, and games for children.
Interactive Exhibits: Hands-on fun including the Maritime Aquarium touch tank and crystal mining with The Gardener’s Center of Darien.
Fitness & Art Workshops: Outdoor workouts and painting sessions led by local instructors and artisans.
Entertainment Hosts: Returning favorites Sam Ramsdell and Ohh Jaaames will provide laughs, surprises, and interactive fun throughout the weekend.

Community Support Drives the Event

Luckypawlooza thrives thanks to its sponsors, partners, and volunteers. Tickets, Volunteering and Vendor Opportunities

Festival tickets are available now, with proceeds supporting Lucky Dog Refuge programs and dog park enhancements. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up to assist with logistics, pet care, ticketing, and more. Local vendors and businesses can still participate, gaining on-site visibility while supporting a community cause.
