Get ready to kick up your heels as the heartwarming hit musical “Kinky Boots” returns to The Bushnell in Hartford for a limited engagement March 17–22, 2026. Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at Bushnell.org, by calling 860-987-5900, or at the box office at 166 Capitol Avenue.

Winner of the Tony®, Grammy®, and London Olivier Awards for Best Musical, “Kinky Boots” has been praised by critics as “a big-hearted, high-kicking hit!” (Chicago Tribune) and “dazzling & joyful!” (Daily News). The show features a Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, and original direction and choreography by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell.

Based on true events, “Kinky Boots” tells the story of Charlie Price, who reluctantly inherits his father’s struggling shoe factory. Facing bankruptcy, Charlie finds unexpected inspiration in Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. Together, they reinvent the factory and discover that you can change the world when you change your mind.

The North American tour is produced by Crossroads Live North America. The tour’s creative team includes DB Bonds (Associate Director), Rusty Mowery (Associate Choreographer), Will Van Dyke (Music Supervisor), and Murnane Casting (Casting). The larger creative team features Tony and Grammy winners Stephen Oremus(Arrangements and Orchestrations), David Rockwell (Scenic Design), Gregg Barnes (Costume Design), Kenneth Posner (Lighting Design), Gareth Owen (Sound Design), and Josh Marquette (Hair Design).

The Grammy Award-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording of “Kinky Boots” is available on Sony Masterworks Broadway. The production is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

Hartford Wolf Pack October Home Games

The Hartford Wolf Pack kick off their home schedule on Friday, October 17, 2025, against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at PeoplesBank Arena. Additional October home matchups include games against the Springfield Thunderbirds and the Bridgeport Islanders. Five of the team’s eight games this month will be played on home ice, giving fans plenty of chances to catch the action in Hartford.
