Ghost has confirmed that its Skeletour World Tour will continue to pack arenas in the new year, with today’s announcement of 20 new North American shows, including a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday, January 28th at 8:00 p.m.

The artist presale will begin on Tuesday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale, which kicks off on Friday, October 3rd at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Rock fans can also purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, October 4th.

The Skeletour World Tour has featured the live debut of songs from Skelettá, Ghost’s sixth album and first to reach number one on the Billboard 200. Released on April 25th via Loma Vista Recordings, Skelettá’s number one debut marked the first time a hard rock album topped the U.S. album chart since 2020. It also debuted at number one in Ghost’s native Sweden, as well as Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, and Finland.

The release of Skelettá was heralded by three singles and videos that trended in the Top 10 on YouTube, with Ghost also securing number one spots on TikTok’s #NewMusic, iTunes, and Amazon’s Best Sellers. The singles include “Satanized,” described as a “catchy Goth-Rock epic” by VICE; “Lachryma,” a fixture on Spotify’s Viral Charts and called “economical, vicious, and contemporary, but tinged by ’80s rhapsody” by PASTE and “phantasmagoric” by Revolver; and “Peacefield,” the monolithic anthem opening both the new record and Ghost’s 2025 live rituals.

Having sold over half a million tickets, the Skeletour World Tour continues a North American swing that included Ghost’s historic first-ever sold-out headlining show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 22nd. With Ghost and its theatrical, melodramatic ritual experience in higher demand than ever, the Skeletour World Tour 2026 will expand the Grammy-winning Swedish rock icons’ audience to include lifelong fans, curious newcomers, and those who find solace in the ritual, offering an immersive escape from daily life.

Continuing a tradition praised by the Boston Globe for showing “just how simple, and wonderful, a screenless concert can be,” Skeletour World Tour 2026 will be a phone-free experience. Phones will be secured in Yondr pouches, though guests will maintain possession of their devices at all times.

Ghost also recently unveiled a limited edition version of Skelettá, available at Target. This special release includes violet mist vinyl housed in a silver-foiled Skelettá box, an exclusive Ghost T-shirt design, and a collectible Papa V overlay. Pre-orders are available now, and copies will also be available starting on Halloween.

During the performance, phones, smart watches, and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at Mohegan Sun Arena, all devices will be secured in individual Yondr pouches, which will only be opened at the end of the event. Guests can access their devices in designated phone use areas within the arena, but all devices must be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
