It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young
Country star Chris Young will make a highly anticipated stop in Connecticut this holiday season, performing at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Friday, December 20, 2025. The show is part of Young’s newly announced Christmas tour and comes just two months after the release of his upcoming album I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, due out October 17.
The GRAMMY-nominated artist’s tenth studio album — and his first with Black River Entertainment — signals a bold new chapter in a career that has already seen over a decade of hits. Featuring 14 new songs, including the rising single “Til The Last One Dies,” the project showcases Young’s return to songwriting roots, with eleven co-writes and a renewed creative fire.
Fans can expect a mix of holiday classics and original favorites at the Wallingford show, along with tracks from the new album like the title song, “I Didn’t Come Here To Leave.” The tour caps off a landmark year for Young, who celebrates his 8th anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member and continues to cement his place as one of modern country’s most respected voices.
