GEWA Music USA, Inc – Ovation Guitars – Gretsch Drums is looking for an Account Receivable leader.

To manage all aspects of the accounts receivable (AR) and help with credit operations for GEWA Music USA in New Hartford, CT. Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Cash Receipts and maintaining credit risk assessments of AR accounts to implement efficient processes and optimal cash flow.
Maintain accurate AR records in Sage 100 erp AR Module by posting customer payments, account reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies. Maintaining up-to-date customer master records and support compliance of internal controls. Ensuring AR internal controls are followed and maintain a
strong relationship with each customer to support long-term trust while making sure each account is staying with the terms of sale agreement.
Collaborate directly with internal sales and operations management and speak directly with customers to verify records and collect payments. Monitoring AR aging and proactively addressing payment delays and discrepancies and driving timely collections to minimize risk. AR function requires continuously identifying and driving process improvements by maintaining accurate records and documentation to support audits and compliance activities.
Monitor and report on AR performance metrics by generating and analyzing AR performance reports at each period end to provide insights into key metrics of outstanding AR and collections forecasts.
•  A bachelor’s degree in accounting is a plus but not required.
•  Knowing how to use Sage 100 erp software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in an office environment located in New Hartford, CT
