On Sunday, May 11th, Mohegan Sun will transform into the ultimate Mother’s Day destination as guests can celebrate mom with a choice between delicious brunches, a spa day, New England Craft Festival, or mouthwatering dining specials. And for those who can’t make it to the resort on Mother’s Day, Mohegan Sun’s gift card promotion ensures a very special day for mom in the future.
A yearly highlight at Mohegan Sun is the Premium and Classic Mother’s Day Brunches. This year moms are in for a treat as both brunches, taking place in the Uncas Ballroom, will be decked out with an elegant floral tea party theme. The Premium Brunch is set to take place from 10:00am – Noon on Mother’s Day while the Classic Brunch will follow from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. Tickets to both brunches are on sale now via Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Premium Mother’s Day Brunch attendees can enjoy chef-curated brunch specialties like pancakes, crispy bacon, jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, a prime rib carving station and a decadent dessert display while the Classic Mother’s Day Brunch offers a delightful spread of elevated brunch favorites like fluffy scrambled eggs, mini croissants and scones, pineapple glazed ham, decadent pastas and a tempting assortment of desserts. Both brunches will feature live music from Mass-Conn-Fusion, and a complimentary Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary bar.
Beauty & Essex will also begin offering weekend brunch beginning Saturday, April 26th and feature delectable menu options including, but not limited to, Chicken n’ Biscuits, Rancheros, Shrimp & Grits, and Red Velvet Waffles. Reservations for Mother’s Day weekend open on Saturday, April 12th.
Over in the Earth Expo & Convention Center, the New England Spring Craft Festival is set to take place from 9:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday, May 10th and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11th. More than 250 local artisans will showcase one-of-a-kind treasures and handcrafted ceramics, in addition to an array of specialty food offerings, curated to enhance the springtime experience at this inaugural event. This includes handcrafted salsas, luscious pastries, and other gourmet delights. Tickets are on sale now via the New England Spring Craft Festival website and may also be purchased at the door.
Sometimes a gift card makes for the perfect gift, especially when they can be used at Mohegan Sun. With this year’s Mother’s Day Gift Card Promotion, a purchase of a Mohegan Sun digital gift card of a $100 or more will come with an extra $20 bonus digital gift card (limit: $500). The Mother’s Day Gift Card Promotion begins on Monday, April 28th at 6:00am and ends on Sunday, May 11th at Midnight. Mohegan Sun gift cards can be used for shopping, dining and entertainment and are accepted at the luxurious hotels at Mohegan Sun, Mandara Spa, Mohegan Sun Golf Club and Mohegan Sun’s Mobil Gas Station & Convenience Store. The bonus digital gift card will be valid through August 31, 2025.
Those looking to enjoy or treat mom to a spa day can relax, renew, and recharge with $50 off when spending $300 or more on spa and salon services at Mandara Spa. Offer is available Monday – Thursday from now through May 31, 2025, excluding holidays. For additional information and to book reservations, guests can visit the Mohegan Sun website.
Guests can also spoil mom to a delicious meal this Mother’s Day at various restaurants across the resort. Over at Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can enjoy a three-course prix fixe meal for $65 which consists of Braised Baby Artichokes for an appetizer, Seared Halibut as the entrée, and a Strawberry Tart for dessert. At Hash House A Go Go, guests can enjoy Mama’s Monte Cristo for $19.99 which is griddled milk bread French toast filled with sliced ham and Swiss cheese, Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast for $17.99, a Cold Brew Martini for $15.99, and a Banilla Bliss for $11.99. The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House will feature four specials, a Spring Salad for $14 and Sea Scallops served with Parmesan risotto for $32, Pomegranate Honey Glazed Chicken served with roasted acorn squash for $28, and a Personal Basque Cheesecake for $12. At The Shed Restaurant, guests can enjoy Lemon Poppy Pancakes for $18 and a Tea Sandwich Flight featuring mini croissants, spiced pear chicken salad, avocado egg salad, smoked salmon pate & watercress for $23. The brand new Sift Bake Shop will feature signature bonbons that are hand-crafted from the highest quality ingredients, where flavors are thoughtfully executed and packaged delicately to ensure an elevated and delicious experience. Bonbons will be available at both Sift Bake Shop Mohegan Sun and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons Mohegan Sun. Guests can also make a brunch reservation at Michael Jordan’s Steak House where they’ll be able to enjoy mouthwatering favorites such as Eggs Benedict, Filet Mignon & Eggs, a Breakfast Burger, and more.
