Chris has performed with a number of other renowned artists including, Roger McGuinn, Mercury Rev, Howe Gelb, Miracle Legion, Asleep at the Wheel, Rhett Miller, Mark Mulcahy, The Turtles, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, and Susan Cowsill.
Since 2008, American Elm has released several E.P.s and albums: “Ulmus Americana” (2008), “alonesomenoise” (2014), “Into the Light Within” (2015), “The Ivory Sessions” (2018), and “Morning Song” (2021), as well as two singles, “Empty Island Houses” (2014) and “A Long Road to be Free” (2018).
2018 marked the public debut of “The Year of the Horse: A Folk-Rock Song Cycle” written by Bousquet and performed by some of the region’s most talented and beloved musicians. The performance took place at New Haven’s famed Café Nine and was later released as a live concert film.
In 2021, the American Elm song, “A Long Road to Be Free” was included in the Essential Western New England Songbook, an 150 song anthology of many of the best songs ever written and recorded by artists who have lived in Western New England and whose careers have a significant connection to the area. The songbook includes many recognizable names including, Taj Mahal, Gene Pitney, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Dar Williams, and the Pixies.
The American Elm song “Gloria” is featured in, and serves as the theme song for the CPTV/PBS documentary “Oyster Heaven,” and the feature film “The Oystering Life.”
In 2020, as American Drone, Chris released a six track EP of songs recorded entirely on stick dulcimer.
Along with Eric M. Lichter, Chris is one half of the band Electric Elm. They have released two singles in 2024, “Sandra Ann” and “Let Us Begin!”

Certainly So
Hailing from Birmingham, AL, childhood friends Tanner Gray and Colby Wilson have been writing music together for over ten years. The pair have drawn inspiration from different genres and eras – The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Grateful Dead, Vampire Weekend, and John Mayer to name a few. The music that comes from Gray and Wilson has always boasted blood harmonies as well as thoughtful, invoking lyrics.
Post high school, Gray and Wilson took different paths. Gray attended Mississippi State University; Wilson stayed in Birmingham. While at MSU, Gray became acquainted with Chase Porter (bass) and Zach Corder (drums). Porter, Corder, and Gray would form and play in multiple groups during their time in Starkville, MS. Wilson, all the while, was writing music of his own with his group Smoking With the Bandit. After graduating in 2015, Porter made his way to Nashville to begin a career in Marketing. A year later, Gray and Corder made their post-graduate home in the panhandle of Florida, where they eventually formed The Graytones.
In the Spring of 2019, Gray and Wilson were reunited when Gray moved back to Birmingham in pursuit of a new job. Corder headed to Music City, catching up with Porter. Gray and Wilson picked up right where they left off in Alabama, and they soon felt a new project starting to take form.
As the duo recorded acoustic demos, they reached out to their Mississippi-born rhythm section.
The demos were shared north to Nashville, and once Porter and Corder heard what Gray and Wilson were doing, they were all in. In September of 2019, Certainly So was formed. Several months later, in January 2020, the group was introduced to producer/engineer Toby Hulbert. Hulbert had spent the last 8 years at Abbey Road in his hometown of London, England, and was currently in Nashville working alongside hitmaker Dave Cobb. Upon hearing the ‘Certainly So’ demos, he felt a similar sentiment as Porter and Corder did- he must be involved. Hulbert joined the team as producer. Certainly So and Hulbert gained access to East Avalon Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals through RCA’s Colin Lott during April 2020. Over the next two months, Hulbert and Lott teamed up to produce and engineer four weekend sessions, recording what would be the band’s debut album Future Self Only Dreams.
Following the Future Self Only Dreams release, Certainly So released Dreams of Green. The record is a combination of the songs that did not sonically make the cut for Future Self Only Dreams, but still deserved to be produced and recorded in their own style, and the new writes that fit the same vibe. Dreams of Green was recorded in the bands basement in the Inglewood area of Nashville and is intended it to be an extension of Future Self Only Dreams. Similarly to Future Self Only Dreams, Dreams of Green was engineered by Colin Lott and mixed by Toby Hulbert in 2021, but was self produced by the members of Certainly So. Dreams of Green was released in July 2022.
Certainly So released their first single in over a year “Alabama Blues” on April 21st 2023. Their follow up single “Tired For a Living” will be released on June 23rd 2023. Both were recorded in Muscle Shoals at East Avalon with Engineer Colin Lott and mixed by Toby Hulbert.
During late 2023 and 2024 the band released 5 singles for their upcoming album titled “Probably Not”. The songs released include “Miss America”, “1422”, “Patience” Lucid”, and “Panic Attack” with 5 new songs to be released with the album.
“Probably Not”, the 10 song album will be released on November 8th 2024!

The Skeleton Krewe Trio
The worlds of Hawaiian slack key guitar, psychedelic pedal steel, and masterful keyboard work converge as three virtuosos of the jam band scene announce their debut tour as Skeleton Krewe Trio. Born from a serendipitous collaboration in early 2024, this unique musical collective features Rob Barraco (Dark Star Orchestra, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Dead), Barry Sless (Bob Weir and Wolf Bros, David Nelson Band, Phil Lesh and Friends), and Grammy-nominated Hawaiian slack key guitarist Stephen Inglis.
The group’s formation traces back to January 2024, when Sless and Inglis first joined forces for what was meant to be a one-off performance. The chemistry was immediate and undeniable. The duo’s successful California shows caught the attention of keyboard virtuoso Rob Barraco, who joined forces with Inglis during a Dark Star Orchestra show at the Hawaii Theatre in April 2024. The natural musical connection between all three players led to the formation of Skeleton Krewe Trio.
This groundbreaking collaboration brings together three distinct musical traditions: Inglis’s mastery of Hawaiian slack key guitar (he’s a recipient of the prestigious Ki Hōʻalu Legacy Award), Sless’s pioneering pedal steel work that has graced stages with Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, and Barraco’s sophisticated keyboard artistry that earned him a place in The Dead’s lineup. An experience that preceded nearly two decades holding the keyboardist chameleon role within Dark Star Orchestra.
Each night, two sets of Skeleton Krewe Trio promises to offer high level artistry hosting an intimate evening of original compositions, Grateful Dead interpretations, and dynamic improvisations that span genres from traditional Hawaiian to psychedelic Americana.
“This collaboration represents a unique moment in time where three distinct musical paths converge,” notes Barraco. “We’re creating something entirely new while honoring the traditions we each bring to the table.” The tour will feature both seated and standing venues, with capacities ranging from intimate clubs to historic theaters, allowing audiences to experience this extraordinary musical alchemy up close.

Alan Sparhawk (of Low)
Alan Sparhawk has always been a prolific, protean musician. A restless soul eager to explore unfamiliar sonic and psychic terrain. Though he’s obviously (and justifiably) best-known for his thirty years as frontman of the legendary band Low, a look at Sparhawk’s many side projects across that same span of time shows him experimenting with everything from punk and funk to production work and improvisation. Low itself never settled for a set sound or approach. The band was always a collaboration—a conversation, a romance—between Sparhawk and his wife, Mimi Parker, who was the band’s co-founder, drummer, co-lead vocalist, and its blazing irreplaceable heart. To take the journey from Low’s hushed early work, through the tremendous melodies of their middle period, all the way to the late lush chaos of their final albums, is to witness heads, hearts, and spirits in an act of perpetual becoming.
Parker passed away in 2022 after a long battle with cancer, and there is no question that WHITE ROSES, MY GOD is a record borne of grief. You can hear it in the title, as well as tracks such as “Heaven”, in which Sparhawk describes the afterlife, wrenchingly, as “a lonely place if you’re alone.” You can sense it too in Sparhawk’s decision to create this thing entirely on his own: every note, every lyric, every programmed beat. It would be reductive, even foolish, to see grief as the sole source or the final limit of this taut, brilliant, provocative, thrilling album, whose bold experimentation is powered by profound lyrics and propulsive beats.

Michigan Rattlers
Michigan Rattlers are a folk-rock band composed of Graham Young (guitar), Adam Reed (bass), Christian Wilder (piano), and Tony Audia (drums). Meeting as childhood friends, they began writing music and performing together in their hometown of Petoskey, Michigan.
Their self-titled Michigan Rattlers EP attracted reviews from No Depression, Bluegrass Situation, B3 Science, and Rolling Stone, who named the band one of their “Ten New Country Artists You Need To Know” in 2016. They’ve continued to evolve beyond the “country” label ever since.
In 2018, following a summer tour that included stops at Bonnaroo, Firefly and Electric Forest; the band released their debut full length album, ‘Evergreen’. “This is a band with solid songwriting chops and instrumental skills,” says No Depression. “‘Evergreen’ shows this four-piece from Petoskey, Michigan making a stand, making their way.”
Growing into a more expansive sound, the band’s second full length album, ‘That Kind of Life’, was released in 2021 to positive reviews.
With live shows being at the core of the band’s identity, the Rattlers continue to tour relentlessly, bringing their honest songwriting and high energy rock n roll to stages across the U.S. and Canada
