Inauguration of Berry the Red Panda
Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo will host the inauguration of Berry the Red Panda, recently elected as the Zoo’s new Mayor, in a celebratory ceremony. The event will include Berry’s official swearing-in and remarks on her plans for “paws-itive” leadership.
Berry’s election as Mayor of Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo highlights the Zoo’s commitment to conservation, education, and community engagement. This event offers an opportunity to celebrate her leadership while raising awareness for the Zoo’s mission and initiatives.
Berry, who campaigned under the slogan “Let’s Make Paws-itive Change Together,” captured voters’ hearts with her vision of balance, resilience, and unity. Her inauguration will mark the start of a year-long term dedicated to advancing the Zoo’s efforts in conservation, research, education, and public enrichment.
