Fairfield Celebrates Alumni Spirit with Unique Legacy Gear from Dustbowl
The Dustbowl brand features exclusive athletic apparel inspired by college memories and team pride
Fairfield University is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Dustbowl — a community-driven clothing brand that honors the spirit of camaraderie and shared experiences cultivated on ballfields and in the bleachers.
With the introduction of Dustbowl’s stylish and high-quality apparel, Fairfield University offers its students and alumni a tangible connection to their collegiate journey, complete with memories of games, friendships, and accomplishments that have defined their time on campus.
Fairfield’s collaboration with Dustbowl will officially kick off during Alumni Family Weekend, Oct. 18-20. Dustbowl merchandise will be available for purchase at AFW’s Stag Fest on Saturday, Oct. 19.
“Stag pride is at the heart of our community, reflecting the deep connection that alumni, students, and fans share with Fairfield University. By offering a wider range of products that resonate with their experiences, we celebrate not just the university’s achievements, but also the memories and relationships that define being a Stag,” said Zach Dayton, assistant vice president and deputy athletics director.
Hailing from Wilton, Conn., Dustbowl’s founders — Will Wiseman, Kevin Wall, and Rob DiGiovanni —understand the ways that sports play a vital role in creating connections and fostering a sense of community. They are dedicated to crafting gear that exemplifies the shared experiences of athletes, fans, students, and families, within Fairfield’s connected alumni network.
Dustbowl co-founder Will Wiseman reflected on the profound impact of community sports, and the lasting connections forged on the field: “We launched our brand last fall, but the spirit of our brand was born on a ballfield decades ago. We grew up playing sports together on a dusty field in Fairfield County. It showed us how our ballfields bring people together in really enduring ways. We wanted to create gear that was loyal to the ballfield that built us; and pass on the spirit of The Dustbowl to everyone.”
“This partnership is special to us,” said co-founder Rob DiGiovanni. “It aligns perfectly with our mission to create gear that is worthy of the way we feel about our teams.
