Just Mystic Apparel Brand Celebrates Its Third Anniversary
Just Mystic ( 33 W Main St, Mystic, CT 06355 ) is proud to announce its third anniversary on October 9th. Founded by sibling duo Robert Nelson and Amanda Cummings in 2021, the apparel brand offers trendy, comfortable “sporty prep” wear within a welcoming retail setting, and has a lot to be proud of with this anniversary. In just three years, the brand has evolved from a pop-up tent with a few Mystic-branded sweatshirts and t-shirts to a full-scale apparel brand with a robust online presence and an impeccably designed brick-and-mortar flagship store.
“Simple, clean, and classic” is the defining description for the look and feel of Just Mystic apparel, which draws on influences from prep, sportswear, and streetwear. Shoppers can find a variety of collegiate-style sweatshirts, comfy varsity sweatpants and shorts, and an array of accessories including pickleball paddles, umbrellas, and tote bags. Following the brand’s success at their first location, the former Mystical Toys at 4 E Main St, Just Mystic moved into premium retail space at 33 W Main St at the beginning of this year.
“The move was an opportunity to design an entirely new experience,” says co-founder Robert Nelson of the new space, adding that it’s “aligned with brand aspirations and offers retail features unlike any others in the region,” including a permanent photo booth and lounge. Co-founder Amanda Cummings created the design, while local craftsman Dan Heine led the buildout. In addition to its new location, Just Mystic added support for design, production, marketing, operations, finance, legal and other components of the brand this year.
As Just Mystic evolves, the team continues to be guided by a core, simple purpose: To create value for the people and communities who support their brand.
