Connecticut Ballet’s BALLET UNDER THE STARS is a mixed bill of classical & contemporary ballets, including a revival of ‘Indian Summer,’ a Gatsby-era story ballet with music by Randy Newman & Nelson Riddle. The program is narrated by Artistic Director Brett Raphael. From 7:00-7:30pm, Connecticut Chinese Dance, a local dance group headed by Alison Wang-Huang, will showcase folkloric dances from different regions in mainland China. Connecticut Ballet’s performance begins at 7:30pm.

Stamford Dances Downtown is a free event in Mill River Park (1010 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT 06901) returning for its third year featuring Connecticut Ballet and Thomas/Ortiz Dance with opening acts from Stamford-based dance schools and ethnic companies celebrating world culture. Please bring your own chairs, no chairs will be provided. Admission is free, but registration is requested.
