Singer-songwriter Joshua Radin is coming to Fairfield on Friday
Joshua Radin has kept up a very respectable release rate since releasing his first album in 2006 and achieved a level of commercial success in the UK and Europe, as well as America, and his songs have been successfully placed in various television series and films including Dear John, The Lucky One and Catch and Release.
Last summer Radin released his latest EP named “though the world will tell me so, volume 2” available on all digital platforms. The EP is a collection of breathtaking songs that Radin was inspired to write during his travels in 2022. The focus of this EP is to remind his fans that it is okay to feel whatever they feel, regardless of what the world might suggest. Radin believes that we are often bombarded with different messages depending on our location and who is in control. Therefore, traveling to different regions and experiencing new things has been instrumental in helping him find peace. To him, every day is a new beginning, and he is always excited to hop on a different train without knowing the destination.
Radin told me in a recent interview “A few years ago I sold my home, and car, gave my stuff away. I’m living out of my suitcase and guitar and doing the real troubadour thing.” Radin decided to go on a journey to seek inspiration for his music. He left his old life behind, packed his guitar, a pen, and a pad, and set off to explore new places. During his travels, Radin recorded two albums called “thought the world will tell me so” volumes 1 & 2. He recorded these albums in various cities such as Stockholm, Paris, and Lisbon.
