The Harwinton Agricultural Society will be presenting the world famous 167th Annual Harwinton Fair October 4th, 5th, and 6th 2024. This is Litchfield County’s oldest and best country fair.

They have a lot of exciting events and activities scheduled for each day of the fair, including helicopter rides, antique tractor pulls, horse events, wood chopping, animal exhibits, live entertainment, amazing fair food and vendors. The fair will also have agricultural displays, kids’ activities and so much more.

Enjoy a classic car show on Friday and the Connecticut Doodlebugs. Pig, rabbit, guinea pig Races and historic reenactors are there all weekend. Along with lots of local bands and entertainment!.

Each day will feature live music. The Country Steel is set to open the fair and South Road will close out the first day of the fair. On Saturday, we have Thunder Road Band and on Sunday The Tradesmen are in the Gazebo. You can also enter the women’s skillet toss or men’s hay bale contests. There will also be 3-D barrel racing and Gymkhana at the riding ring.

The fair is on Friday, 4 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fairgrounds are located on Locust Road in Harwinton off Route 4.

On Friday, general admission is $10 and wristbands are avaible to enjoy the rides all evening long. Saturday and Sunday general admission is $10 and children 12 and under are free. Fair parking is also free.
