The Wethersfield Farmers’ Market, now in its 15th season, was designed as a destination event for both local residents and those from nearby towns. Over 30 vendors are featured each week along with food trucks and live music. Special events are scheduled throughout the season, many being child-oriented. Face painters and balloon artists attend regularly. The Market features many organic farm products. We participate in the Double SNAP program where all SNAP eligible foods are discounted 50%.We are very dog and animal friendly and we have a large picnic area on the grounds of the 1774 Solomon Welles House. Come visit and then take in the historic village of Old Wethersfield with its museums and largest collection of 18th century homes in the state.
