Milford’s Static Era Records announces Record Stories
A reality show focused on local independent shops and pressing plants
37 Productions and Static Era Records has just wrapped the pilot episode for their new Reality Show, RECORD STORIES. An American music reality television series that is hosted by SE’s Jay Reason. Each episode generally has a unifying theme (such as vinyl, punk, metal, hip hop) with the host visiting local record stores and pressing plants, sometimes with a special guest host. The program focuses on small, independent shops featuring the owners and their staff. The host interacts with both the customers, to get their opinion on music, collections, vinyl, and with the staff who keep the vinyl industry growing stronger each year.
Jay speaks with a host of quirky record collectors and dedicated enthusiasts who passionately pursue their passion of curating, preserving, and cherishing vinyl records. With an insatiable thirst for the nostalgia and authenticity of music, they navigate the the globe in search of vintage and contemporary releases, creating a rich tapestry of sonic history through their carefully amassed collections. Then we speak to their partners…
Record Stories is produced by Paul Travers, Jay Reason and Sean O’Neil as well as Directed by Paul Travers. Each episode will run 12 minutes to keep attention spans appeased and allowing for a typical 23 minute program by running two episodes consecutively.
