Pixies tour stop in Bridgeport is going to be electrical
Pixies are performing at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater on August 24 with Modest Mouse.
Pixies have been captivating audiences since the late 80’s alternate/rock movement. Becoming influences for bands like the Strokes, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, and Weezer over the years. Today a new generation of fans has been discovering the band’s signature sound. Performing to sell-out crowds worldwide, Pixies shows are electric and filled with musical magic.
Last September Pixies released their eighth studio album, Doggerel. A mature record of grusome folk, brutal rock, and ballroom pop. This album is haunted by past storms of affairs, indulgences, wild forces of digital afterlives, and preparing for another storm as it stands in the background. Pixies has 7 previous albums going back to 1988 including their debut album Sufer Rosa, Doolittle, Bossanova, Trompe Le Monde, Head Carrier, and Beneath the Eyrie.
