Barnum Museum to receive National Historical Landmark designation from the National Park Service on August 24
A community celebration will take place on the M&T Bank Plaza in Downtown Bridgeport
Join the Barnum Museum in celebrating a historic milestone on August 24th at the M&T Bank Plaza in Downtown Bridgeport from 11 am – 2 pm. Don’t miss out on the engaging activities for all attendees.
The Barnum Museum thanks M&T Bank for sponsoring this event and providing a historic venue for the celebration. Guests will enjoy live art demonstrations by Art Simplicated, THE GAME, and Circus Moves performers, as well as live music by the renowned Tony Ferrigno Band. The event will also feature the CT Beardsley Zoo, Sacred Heart University Discovery Science Center & Planetarium, the Bridgeport Public Library, cARTie Mobile Museum, and a magnificent Bridgeport Fire Dept. Ladder Truck.
Aquarion Water Company will distribute free water from their truck, and the City of Bridgeport will provide free Micalizzi Italian Ice to all guests. This collaborative effort showcases Bridgeport’s strong sense of community.
