From free events to classes The Norwalk Arts Space has a variety of events this August
Youth Connection
The Norwalk Arts Space is offering exciting classes in August, including the Youth Connection class with Ukrainian students. Delayed from this week until August 15th, the class offers an inspiring opportunity for art education in a time of social distancing.
Introducing Youth Connection, a unique class that links students from the United States to Ukraine through live video conversations. Participants will have the opportunity to share personal stories and culture with Ukrainian teens attending RaDity Space, an art school and summer camp located in the wooded countryside of Western Ukraine. Through art-making and idea exchange, create relationships and forge friendships between two continents.
Creating Sculpture with Everyday Objects
This new class is perfect for any skill level. Create your own sculptures and installations with materials such as cardboard, fabric, wire, wood, metal, wax, rope, books, and paper. Personal objects can be incorporated for an extra special touch.
