There are some people who we are meant to cross paths with, Micaela who runs 203local is one of them. When I started Finding Westport’s Instagram account back in 2018, I remember seeing 203local and she was using the hashtag #thebestofwhatsaround – I should have sent her a message knowing she was referring to the Dave Matthews Band song. For some reason, I didn’t. Fast forward to sometime after the pandemic started, I was looking for information on one of the Westport Facebook groups I am on and Micaela sent me a message offering to help get the info I needed… then in the midst of the conversation, we found out we are both major fans of Dave Matthews Band. Then she found out about my (some would call it obsession) thing with the number 41. What I thought was going to a small conversation with someone who was looking to help, turned into a conversation that hasn’t ended. Little did we know then we would be working together a few years later.
